CCS New User South Suburban Sig

This is one of the several CCS Sigs which meet monthly throughout the Chicagoland area. Beginners and experienced computer users get a chance to meet and share experiences, ideas, problems, and challenges.

Since its inception the New Users Special Interest Group has been geared to present topics at a level more easily understood and put to use by novice computer users. Since the start of this SIG in March 2002 many of our novice attendees have matured in their computer experience and the New User program will grow with them. So for 2003 we will expand the concept of a "new user" to mean more than just a first time computer owner, but rather, a first time user of certain computer products. Our program will look at various application software products and present some basic information and demonstration of the products from a new user's point of view. Join us.
