Microsoft to

How do you
know when it's time to upgrade your PC?
I know, when
my needs change or when the OS or major software will no longer
run on the hardware and upgrading would cost more than the PC
originally cost. That is happening to my ASUS Transformer Book
tablet. (32-bits and Atom processors are so not happening
anymore!)

Yet another

On the other
hand, the most common sign is there is no sign. Most modern

detection.)

How to cut
the cord without losing live network TV or your DVR
I don't know
how a converter box can claim to be able to record
in HD. These units were designed to down-convert DTV signals to
SD-TV analog signals. Recording that output would be limited to
240p or 480i resolutions, and in analog. (Think of the fuzzy
recordings with indistinct audio from your old VCRs back in the
1980s.) Maybe they can use a pass-through of some sort? Anyway,
the one Channel Master put out a couple of years ago flopped
because its output was crap. This one at this price point cannot
be much better, no matter what the ad copy at Amazon Marketplace
claims.
