(Windows 11: significant changes about Windows 11 were posted last Thursday and Friday.  However, many may be glossing over some changes.  1) to install on older equipment not compliant with requirements list can only be installed clean, no updating inplace.  So besides have a verified image backup of your system as insurance, you need all software you have installed on your computer and all data files as everything will be removed from the drive on a clean install.  Then reinstall all your programs, updated versions where possible, and put a copy of your data files back where they were. 2) It is not clear yet if you will get on older computers support of bug fixes and security updates to keep you as safe as possible.  This would be like running Windows XP, Vista, and 7 since they are no longer supported.  Windows 10 will be supported for the next four years, there is a current chip shortage inflating prices, and most are likely going to buy a new system before Windows 10 is retired.  Gamble at your own risk, but with a verified backup, you can get back to where you were before trying to upgrade to Windows 11.  Even if you stay with Windows 10, you still need to have a verified backup before upgrading to Windows 10 21H2.  Windows 10 21H1 is good to go.)
