ALL CURRENT MEETINGS ARE ON ZOOM ONLY
The Chicago Computer Society (CCS) can be your connection to several meetings which meet monthly through Zoom. Computer Club meetings provide the opportunity for beginners and experienced computer users to get a chance to meet and share experiences, ideas, challenges, problems, and possible solutions.
You are welcome to attend as many Computer Clubs and Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings as you wish each month. Many CCS members regularly attend the meetings since Zoom makes it most convenient from their home or workplace. Members receive meeting notices by email so they can pick the meeting with the topic of interest or join in any or all meetings.
Visitors/Guests are always welcome at no charge to attend the CCS Computer Club and/or SIG meetings.
If you are not a member of the Chicago Computer Society
Please consider joining the Society to support our efforts. Email Beata Kernan @ Admin@ccs.org and provide her with your full name and contact email address to receive membership information and meeting announcements.
At CCS meetings you’ll find a wide variety of interesting features such as:
- Open Forum – users are encouraged to bring their questions to get answers and to gain and share from the experience of fellow members.
- Tips and Tricks – a CCS member offers shortcuts and undocumented features of current applications.
- Presentations – CCS members or other computer experts educate us on the latest in computer hardware, software, and services.
- Member Networking – CCS members enjoy the opportunity to socialize and discuss common interests. On Zoom we provide time before and after the meetings up to 30 minutes each.
The CCS meeting times and dates may vary throughout the year. Email the meeting Coordinator if you have issues with Zoom links. As CCS meetings are open to the general public, guests are always welcome.
